Submissions Guidelines for NR Logs
These are the guidelines for submitting logs of roleplay to the New Republic Roleplay Logs Archive. Contributions are welcome, but do please follow these pointers.

Any player on Star Wars MUSH may submit logs, as long as they involve characters, places, or plots related to or affecting the New Republic faction.

We prefer that logs submitted to this archive be more or less rated PG-13 -- i.e., roleplay that would make for tasteful public reading. You may have some perfectly marvelous and entertaining R-rated logs, but if you do, you should save them for your own logs archive.

You should include with your log your character's name (as log submitter), name of the character who created the log (if different from you), the date the log was made (can be multiple dates), and a short summary describing the action and who's involved. You should also send a title for your log.

Log files should be in text (ASCII) format. Please do not send logs in any word processor format, or HTML. We may at some point convert logs on this archive to HTML, and if we do, we will do it in a consistent fashion. Until then, all logs sent in should be strictly text format.

Logs should be emailed to Sargent's player. You can either just include the log in the body of your message, or send them as attachments to the message.

If you send your log as an email attachment, please name the file whatever you like, but make sure it ends in the extension ".txt". This is so that the link we create to your log can be interpreted by most browsers out on the web.

Please make sure that your logs have proper word wrap. All lines in your log should be no longer than approximately 75-78 characters, so as to make sure that browsers do not display paragraphs as lines that run off the screen. If your log does not have lines that wrap in a readable fashion, we will send it back. We will not edit it for you.
